Caofeidian is one rare point in the north of China to build a large-scale deepwater harbour.To build and exploit deepwater port in Caofeidian suits the need of the development in cargo ship and harbour. The reform and sustained development of heavy chemical industry in the district rounded the Bohai Sea,the development of economy in the north of China.
