摘要
狄金森诗歌中的性别意象主要包括女性身体、珠宝、女性服装、疑问句、女性叙述者、花草、河流、小船等,展现的是诗人作为女性和女性作家被忽略的一种身份。性别意象是男权社会的产物,也是宗教压抑的结果。因此,可以说狄金森诗歌中的女性意象折射出19世纪美国的历史、文化、政治、法律和经济状况。
Gender imageries in Dickinson＇s poems include female body, jewelry, female clothes, the interrogative sentence, female narrator, flowers, grasses, rivers ard boats and they display the neglected identity of Dickinson as a woman and female writer. Gender imagery is the product of the patriarchal society and it is also the result of the religious oppression. So wecan say gender imageries in poems of Dickinson reflect the conditions of history, culture, politics, law and economy in the 19^th century America.
