摘要
从Brookes文献老化的负指数方程出发,推导出引文半衰期和普赖斯指数之间的关系式,证明他们之间不是反比关系,并用此关系式重新拟合了陈立新等人的数据。拟合结果表明:该关系式可以很好地拟合1954-1968年的数据,拟合1969-2003年的数据则出现较大的偏差。其原因可能是随着科学技术的进步,SCIE力学专业期刊的引文半衰期对普赖斯指数的变化率比理论值要快。此外,拟合结果还揭示SCIE力学期刊中的经典文献的引文半衰期在较长时间内是不变的。
A relationship between half-life of literature and Price index was derived from Brookes' negative exponent equation of liter- ature obsolescence, and was tested it to be not an inversely-proportional relationship. Data from reference [ 10] were investigated by the relationship between half-life of literature and Price index again. Fitted results showed that the relationship between half-life of liter- ature and Price index fitted well data from 1954 to 1968, but it was not able to simulate the data from 1969 to 2003. The reasons were that the actual ratio of half-life to Price index was faster than the theoretical vales in SCIE special journals because of science and tech- nology in process. Moreover, fitted resuhs also revealed that half-life of classical literature in SCIE mechanics journals was kept con- stant in a long time.
