摘要
本文报道在动物实验基础上高温综合治疗脑胶质瘤51例,其生存时间中数为15个月、以上,其他疗法则只有5~8个月。治疗方法是手术切除肿瘤、有温处理瘤床及局部抗癌药物灌注三者相结合。主要理由是:(1)手术切除肿瘤虽可使绝大多数肿瘤被取出,但仍有少量肿瘤细胞残存,是引起肿瘤复发的根本原因。(2)肿瘤细胞对高温的耐受性比正常细胞差,当温度上升至45℃时,残留的肿瘤细胞被大量杀伤。(3)高温坏境下抗癌药物对肿瘤细胞的毒性显著增高,加强对肿瘤细胞的杀灭作用。
Based on animal experiments,51 patients with glioma received hyperthermic
combination treatment with satisfactory results. Their median survial time is more than 15
months while that of those who did not undergo such treatment is only about 5 to 8 months.
The main technique of the treatment is to place a water sac into the bed of tumour
immediatly after evacuating the tumour. The sac should be maintained 30 minuts at 45℃
with the help of an automatic temperature raising apparatus. Anti-cancer drugs are dire-
ctly given into the bed of tumour when the water sac is taken out.Then a catheter is placed
between the bed of tumour and subcutanes. Through the cathater anti-cancer drugs can be
infused once a week, which can be done in out-patient department. uaually 3 infusions
comprise a course of treatment. No signifieant side-effect appeared. The theoretical basis of
this method is that (1) the key for the recurrance of tumour is that a little part of tumour
remains in the body even after a satisfactary operation, (2) because the tumour cells are
more sensitive to hyperthermia than normal ones, the remaining tumour cells would be
killed at 45℃,(3) the toxic effect of anti-cancer drugson tumour cells will be (?)nhanced in
a hyperthermic state, and consistency of the drug will increase when regular infusions.
