Application of TSS350 system in the detection of submarine power cables

摘要 基于社会经济的发展,海底电缆输电技术被越来越广泛的应用,而海底电缆的探测,特别是对海底电缆埋深的探测成为海底电缆运行维护工作的难点之一。本文首先阐述了TSS350系统的方法原理、系统构架以及工作方法;其次,以粤琼500kV跨海高压输电电缆探测为例,给出了TSS350系统对高压带电运行的海缆路由及埋深的探测情况。探测实践的结果表明,TSS350系统能精确追踪海底运行中的高压电缆的路由和埋深信息,该探测系统对监测海底电缆的运行和维护具有重要作用。 As the rapidly development of the society and economy,the transmission technology using submarine power cable is widely applied.The detection of submarine cable,especially its depth location becomes the key problem in the maintenance of submarine cable.After the brief introduction of TSS350 principle,configuration and operation,its application to the route and burial depth of 500kV live power cables from Guangdong province to Hainan province is presented in this paper.The detection results show that TSS350 system can accurately track the route and burial depth of live cable with high voltage.In brief,this system can not only detect the live cable with high voltage,but also play an important role for the maintenance of submarine power cables.
