摘要 随着国民经济水平的提高，越来越多的人出现皮下脂肪过多堆积，这与现代人对纤细身材、追求线条美的审美要求是相矛盾的。同时，与肥胖相关的慢性病如高血压、冠心病、糖尿病已成为威胁人类健康的头号病因，促使人们对去除多余脂肪提出更高的要求。据美国整形外科协会的统计，仅2008年一年，全美共有341000人接受了去脂手术，是仅次于隆乳术的第二大美容手术。
