摘要
在士向知识分子的近代转型中,晚清小说家是颇具代表性的群体之一,他们典型地体现出士的近代转型的状况和特征。通过小说创作,晚清小说家自身切实地进行着士的近代转型,同时还以其小说作品去改良政治,救治社会和"新民",从而启悟了其他士人向知识分子转型,他们对士的近代转型进程起到了推动作用。
The novelists in late Qing Dynasty were a typical group during modem transformation from Chinese tradi- tional scholar-officials to the intellectuals. They embodied representatively scholar- officials＂ modem transforma- tion. By their novels, the novelists in late Qing Dynasty as scholar-officials transformed to the intellectuals them-selves, and ameliorated politics, gave treatment to society and “Xin Min”. Thereby they lead the other scholar-officials to the intellectuals.
