1971—1982年,为了对付经济衰退,加拿大新民主党政府在萨斯喀彻温省执政期间推行了120余项创新政策,加强了政府对经济的干预,完善了社会保障制度。危机的压力、选民的支持、该党的创新传统和布莱克尼总理个人因素等共同促成了创新政策的成功施行。新民主党政府的创新政策在加拿大产生了重大影响,也为后世留下了一些宝贵借鉴。
From 1971 to Province. During 1982, the New Democratic Party （NDP）was in power in Saskatchewan the period it carried out more than 120 innovations to gain much control over provincial economy and improve its social security system. There were many factors to stimulate theseinnovative policies, such as the pressure of the crisis, the support from voters, the party＇s tradition of innovation and Premier＇s personality. The innovative policies of the NDP government exerted a strong influence on Canadian history from which the later generations can learn something.
