An Equation Involving the Smarandache Function and the Euler Function

摘要 对于任意正整数n,设φ(n)和S(n)分别是关于n的Euler函数和Smarandache函数.利用初等数论以及组合、分析的方法,得到了方程φ(n)=S(nk)当k=8,9时的所有正整数解,同时对方程的解及解的个数进行了讨论. For any positive integer n,let φ（n） and S（n） denote the Euler function and the Smarandache function of the integer n.In this paper,the positive solutions of the equation φ（n）=S（nk） when k=8,9 are obtained using the elementary number theory method,the combination method and the analysis method.In addition,the solutions and the number of the solutions about the equation are discussed.
