摘要
近年来,西方莎学界对莎士比亚作品第一对开本作为演出文本的关注日益彰显。本文通过对比新目录学派和演出派对第一对开本的研究目的、研究方法和研究结论的不同,指出演出派所采用的描述性研究视角、对文本细节演出意义的探究,对其作为演出文本身份的强调,都为第一对开本的价值研究提供了一个全新的更广阔的视角。
Shakespeare's First Folio as a performing text has recently drawn more attention from western Shakespeare scholars. Based on a comparative study of the different research objectives, methodologies, and results of the New Bibliography scholars and the F1 performing group, the paper contests that the latter's descriptive perspective, their exploration into the potential theatricality ofFl's textual details, and their emphasis on F1 first as a performing text and then as a literary one, provide a new and broader insight into the study of F1' s value.
