Endemic fluorosis is a chronic disease which could do harm to the whole body Lipid peroxidation is considered as one of the mechanisms of fluoride toxicity The current discussion focuses on:1 the lipid peroxidation induced by fluoride and its association with tissue impairments 2 the mechanisms of the lipid peroxidation induced by fluoride,which includes increasing the production of superoxide anion(O - ·2 ),decreasing the activity of antioxidase and the amount of antioxidant
