Using PET bottles for beer is now an established trend, but it's challenging nonetheless. Following successful year-long customer trials, two new patented high-barrier PET packaging solutions for beer, juice and CSD markets are soon to be launched. Here we look at different aspects of their performance. In addition, benchmark performance from a new linear PET stretch blow moulding machine is included.
