摘要
作者从1986年开始在朝阳县对墨西哥饲用玉米草(Euchanena mexicana)进行的引种试验表明,适于在我国北方暖温带地区作为饲草种植。一般一年可刈割2～3次,平均亩产鲜草2838.8公斤,最高可达3186.0公斤/亩,其最适宜的播种时期为早霜来临之前。
The authors have carried out a introduction experiment of Mexico fodder grass Euchanena mexicana in the Chaoyang county since 1986.The results showed it was suitable for planting as fodder grass in the warm temperate zone of china.The grass can be cut 2—3 times, its production is about 42582kg/ha, the most suitable time for planting is early befor frost season.
