摘要
高职院校实施全面素质教育是高职人才培养目标取向所决定的,高职EOP是学生受益面最广的基础课程之一,因此它对提高行业人才综合素质有着重要的作用。文章依据高职英语新的教学大纲基本要求,结合高职英语职业用途的特点,从高职行业英语教学中英语教师自身的专业成长为起点,探讨EOP模式对职业技能素质教育的促进作用,倡导开展英语课程以职业为导向的教学改革。
：The task of Junior College education is to cultivate comprehensive quality talents. EOP plays an important role in educating such talents. In the light of college English syllabus and the character of English for Occu- pational Purpose, the attempt is explored in the paper that the EOP mode is introduced to junior college English teaching from the improvement of teachers＂ quality as a starting point.
