摘要
孔教大学和孔子学院是中国近现代对外教育交流的重要媒介,二者的性质存在巨大差异,但均与孔子、汉语教学相关联。历史上的孔教大学是民族文化危机的产物,其对外教育交流活动扩大了儒学文化的影响。当今海外孔子学院作为中外合作办学机构,适应了中外文化交流发展的需要。从孔教大学到孔子学院的办学演变表明:主权独立是平等开展对外教育交流的政治基础,近代中国的半殖民地地位严重制约了中国对外教育交流与文化传播,当代中国的改革开放与经济持续发展是海外孔子学院发展的强大动力。
Both the Confucius University and the Confucius Institute are the important foreign education communication media in modern China.There are large differences between them in the aspect of property,while they are both related to Confucius.The Confucius University in history was the product of national cultural crisis,and its foreign education exchange activities expanded the influence of Confucianism culture.Today's Confucius Institutes,the Chinese-oreign cooperatively-unning schools,adapted to the development of the cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.The evolution from the Confucius University to the Confucius Institute indicates that sovereign independence is the political foundation of foreign educational exchanges equality.The semi-olonial status of modern China has restricted foreign education exchange and culture dissemination;contemporary China's reform and openness and the continuous economic development,is a powerful driving force for the development of Confucius Institutes overseas.
