摘要
任何语法体系都只是对客观的语言规律的主观理论架构。从传统语法到当代的生成语法和功能语法都有一个基本句式和变式的体系。主要的语法理论问题都是在基本句式的基础上建立起来的，诸如：省略，移位，紧缩，配价等等。脱离了基本句式这些问题都难以理解。基本句式不是由任何其他句式派生的句式；变式是由基本句式派生的句式。
From Greek-Latin traditional grammar down to present-day generative of functional grammar are all built upon a system of basic sentences and transformations,explicit or implicit, and all theoretical conceptions in grammar are elaborated within the framework of basic sentences,and not on the basic of all existing sentences,including numerous exceptional constructions. Basic sentences are those which are not derived from any other sentences and transformations are those which are derived from basic sentences.
