摘要
代戎是东周时期活动于中国北方的重要部族,其族属与渊源众说纷纭。认为代戎为商王朝同姓封国或为北戎、西戎、追族等说法均与史实不合。代戎是一些白狄族从山陕北部东迁到达代地后经过他们相互之间以及他们与当地土著人群的融合,而整合形成的一个新的部族。简言之,代戎为白狄别种。
Dairong was an especially important tribe in the Eastern Zhou dynasty which lived in the north of China. There are many different opinions on its nationality-belonging and origin. Some believe that this tribe has blood relationship with the governor of Shang dynasty and was given certain territory to rule. Others hold that the tribe belonged to the so-called West Rong nationality which moved to the east area or the so-called North Rong nationality. Some people think that the tribe belonged to a clan named Zhui in the period of West Zhou . However, these opinions are historically inaccurate. Actually a nationality named Baidi came from the north of Shanxi province and im- migrated to the Dai area, and lived with the local people and gradually became anew tribe-Dairong. Simply speaking, Dairong is a special branch of Baidi.
