摘要
组播（Ｍｕｌｔｉｃａｓｔ）是计算机网络中的一种特殊的、高效的通信方式，在这种方式中，发送者有选择地向一组接收者发送信息，在多点通信中具有不可替代的作用．本文描述了组播的机制和特点，具体说明了组播在Ｗｉｎｄｏｗｓ下的应用方法和实现过程．
Multicast is a special and high efficient communication mode in the computer network. In the multicasting commumication mode, the senders/sources send information to a group of selected receivers. So, it plays a very important role in multipoint communication. In this paper,the mechanism and the characters of multicast are described. In addition, Windows based application and implementation of multicast is illustrated concretely.
