摘要
水资源是国民经济和生活的基本的资源，也是人类生活和经济发展所必要的，不可代替的重要资源缺少水，就没有经济持续、快速、健康的发展本文从新疆水资源特点及开发利用状况入手，指出新疆水资源已日益成为严重威胁新疆经济可持续发展的一个大问题。
Water resources are the basic nonrenewable resources for National Economy and people' living. They are also indispensable and irreplaceable resources for the living of human beings and development of economy. Without water,economy could not develop continuously, fast and healthily. The article begins with the characteristics and the development conditions of water resources, points out that water resources in Xinjiang have become serious threat gradually, become an important problem to sustainable development of economy in Xingjiang, puts forward to methods to enlarge the catchment area and methods to establish a sparing water society.
