摘要
本文研究了IEEE 1588精确时间同步协议的基本原理、核心算法和技术特点。该协议主要解决传统网络时间同步技术精度不高和安全性差等问题。相比已有的基于网络时间协议(NTP)或GPS的时间同步技术,基于IEEE 1588协议的时间同步技术具有很高的精确性、安全性和可控性,能够较好地满足通信网同步、电力系统、工业控制、高精密测量等应用领域的时间同步要求。
The principles,core algorithms and technical features of IEEE 1588 protocol(Precision Time Synchronization Protocol) are introduced.The IEEE 1588 protocol can solve?the problem of low time?synchronization?accuracy of networks and?poor?security performance. Compared to the two existing?network time synchronization technologies,?NTP based and GPS?based technologies,IEEE 1588 based time synchronization technology can provide higher?accuracy,security and controllability,and meet the time synchronization requirement of communication network,power systems,?industrial control and high precision measurement?applications.
