摘要
在过去六年中,中国外语教育研究中心和外语教学与研究出版社联合为高校外语教师举办了42期专题研修班,参班人数近万人次,来自全国各地的近万名在职外语教师从中获益。六年来的实践证明此类研修班是提升高校在职外语教师专业化能力的最有效的形式之一。为了将这一研修形式在更大范围内推广,本文阐述了我们举办此类研修班的理论框架、选择研修主题的理据,并较为详细地介绍了如何将该理论应用于研修班实践活动的各个环节。
In the past six years, the National Research Center for Foreign Language Education and Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press have jointly run 42 intensive thematic courses for English teachers' professional development which have been taken by nearly 10,000 tertiary English teachers. The six years' practice has proved that such a course is one of the most effective forms for in - service teachers' professional development. In order to have more institutions to run such courses, the paper explains the theoretical framework for the course and the rationales for selecting a theme for each course. The paper also illustrates in detail how our theoretical principles have been applied to practice.
