摘要
医学图像边缘检测是医学图像处理领域的核心技术之一,寻求既能精确定位图像边缘,又能有效抑制图像噪声的算法一直都是医学图像处理领域的热点和难点。结合小波分析理论,在经典边缘检测算法的基础上提出了一种改进的基于小波分解的医学图像边缘检测算法。算法的实质就是在图像边缘检测前利用小波分析理论对图像进行特定的预处理。实验结果证明,此算法的性能要优于经典边缘检测算法的性能。
Medical image edge detection is one of the core technologies in the field of the medical image processing.Seeking a algorithm that could locate the image edge precisely while restrain noise effectively is always the hotspot and the difficulty in the field of medical image processing.Based on the classical edge detection algorithm and combined with the wavelet-analysis theory,an improved wavelet decomposition-based edge detection algorithm for medical image is proposed.The essence of this algorithm is to implement special pretreatment of the image before the image edge detection by using wavelet analysis theory.Experimental results show that the performance of this algorithm is much better than that of the classical edge detection algorithm.
