摘要
劳伦斯对工业文明持否定态度,认为工业文明压抑了人的本性,使之异化和扭曲,因此如何克服工业文明的弊病,帮助人类摆脱现代文明的束缚是劳伦斯作品的主题之一。文章从文本细读的方式入手,对劳伦斯短篇小说《太阳》中的希腊精神和现代文明之间的冲突进行分析,看小说主人公如何摆脱现代文明的藩篱,复苏体内的希腊精神和血性意识,解脱自我,释放人的自然本性。
D.H.Lawrence holds a negative attitude towards industrial civilization,arguing that industrial civilization has suppressed man＇s nature,and made it alienated and twisted.So how to overcome the demerits of industrial civilization and help man eliminate its constraint is one of the most important topics of the works by D.H.Lawrence.This paper intends to interpret the short story Sun from the perspective of conflict between Hellenism and modern industrial civilization,in order to show how the protagonist gets out of the shackles of modern civilization,enlivens the Greek spirit and Hemorrhagic consciousness,and finally gets the self-liberation.
