摘要
目的了解儿童睡眠时间与肥胖的关系。方法采用分层随机整群抽样方法抽取1 145名7~12岁儿童,测量身高和体质量,计算体质指数(BMI)。对受试儿童及家长进行睡眠时间、运动时间、家庭作业时间和看电视、玩游戏时间的问卷调查。结果该组儿童的肥胖发生率为3.8%;睡眠时间≥10 h儿童的肥胖发生率为2.0%,8~10 h儿童发生率为5.0%,≤8 h儿童发生率为10.0%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。结论睡眠时间过短是导致肥胖的危险因素,保证充足的睡眠时间是预防肥胖的重要手段。
Objective To investigate the link between sleep duration and obesity in children. Methods A total of 1 145 children aged 7 to 12 years were selected by stratified sampling. Height and weight were measured. Body mass index (BMI) was calculated. The parents and children were surveyed with questionnaire. Results The prevalence of obesity was 3.8% in all children. 2.0% in children with sleep duration ≥ 10 h, 5.0% in children with 8 - 10 sleep duration, and 10.0% in children with ≤ 8 h sleep duration. The differences were statistically significant (P 〈 0.001 ). Conclusions Short sleep duration is associated with obesity in children and adequate sleep duration among children is important in prevention of obesity.
