摘要
钟文典先生是我国著名的历史学家。他以新资料的挖掘作为创新的基础,以发现和保护历史文化资源为己任,以从严治史为基本原则,带领史学工作者长期开展历史调查,将文献资料与实地调查资料相结合,不断探索历史的奥秘。他之所以能取得非常突出的育人成果和研究成果,是因为他具有高度的社会责任感、高尚的人品和学品以及高超的专业技术。他用自己不平凡的工作经历生动诠释了"在田野里发现历史其乐无穷"的真谛。
Mr. Zhong Wendian is a renowned historian in our country. He takes the excavation of new data as the basis of innovation, the discovery and protection of historical cultural resources as his own responsi- bility, and the strict research approach to history as basic principle. He leads historical researchers to carry out long-term survey, combines document literature with field survey data and explores the mystery of history. Attributed to his highly social sense of responsibility, noble personality, academic moral and superb professional skills, he is able to achieve outstanding educational and research achievement. His extraordinary working experience vividly proves this： ＂It is an endless enjoyment to find history in the fields＂.
