摘要
普什图民族是当今世界上最大的部落社会，普什图人依照父系血缘建立自己的宗族世系，世系内部又划分出层次不同、数目众多的部落集团。由于繁多、复杂和不可考证的族谱、神话、民间故事，以及历史上不稳定的结盟和冲突，普什图各部落、次部落之间的界限并不是很清晰。
