摘要
古代与近代武术的发展对现代学校武术有着重要的历史作用,通过对古代和近代学校武术的演变过程和推动因素进行研究,结果发现,自然与战争条件的影响;维护统治阶级政权的需要;文武分途的出现;民间、军旅武术的发展以及武举与武学选拔和培养机制的建立是促进古代学校武术发展的主要动因。近代学校武术的发展主要基于政治原因;体育社团和有识之士的提倡;增进健康和锻炼体魄的需要;土洋之争促使对武术的重新认识;政府要人和社会名流的大力提倡等因素。
