Parametric Studies of an Artificial Electromagnetic Material Based on the Fishnet Structure

摘要 提出了一种基于渔网结构的新型低损耗改进型渔网结构左手材料,研究了其传输特性和材料有效电磁参数,计算表明其具有较宽的负折射带宽和左手带宽(介电常数和磁导率同时为负),同时数值研究了提出的结构的几何参数变化对材料电磁参数的影响。结果表明在结构参数相当大范围内保持了材料的左手物理特性。 A new low loss broadband left-handed materials based on the fishnet structure have been presented. The transmission properties and effective electromagnetic parameters of materials are studied numerically, it is shown that proposed structure allows negative index, negative permittivity and permeability in a wider frequency bandwidth respect the original fishnet geometry. In addition, the influences of the various geometrical parameters on the electromagnetic response and the left-handed performance are also in- vestigated, the design is found to give left-handed behavior for a wide range of structure parameters.
