摘要
交叉学科是指形成于数学科学、自然科学与哲学科学、社会科学之间交汇区域的跨界学科或边缘学科。交叉学科与边缘学科、综合学科、横向学科有程度不同的重叠关系，但并不完全等同。交叉科学作为所有交叉学科的集合，具有整合性、远缘性、宜人性等特征。交叉科学在科学体系中占据着承上启下的特殊地位，发挥着转移研究方法、传送研究成果的特有作用。
Interdisciplinarity is a transregional science or a frontier science which has evolved in the joint area of mathematical science, natural science, philosophical science and social science. There are different degrees of overlapping relationships among interdisciplinarity and frontier science, synthetic science and horizontal science, but they are not all the same. As an integration of all interdisciplinarities, interdisciplinary science possesses the characteristics of conformity, frontier and fitting. It has occupied the peculiar Position in the system of sciences, forming a connecting link between the preceding and the following, and it has also played the specific role for transferring the research methods and delivering the research achievements.
