摘要
词典中多义词的义项划分与排列一直是词典编撰的难题。常用的历史顺序、频率顺序和逻辑顺序各有利弊。运用于语言研究领域的原型理论对于分析词义,体现多义词义项间的联系起到了重要作用,也为使用者的多义词习得提供了更多的帮助。
It's difficult to order senses within entries in English dictionaries. Historical sequence, frequency order and logical sequence all have their pros and cons. The prototype theory applied in language acquisition is much helpful to analyze the meaning of words and indicate the interrelations between word senses.
