GIS应用于城市规划编制中应用有很多方面,在总体规划编制中,GIS所处的地位仅处于工具箱的作用。以新塘镇总体规划编制过程为例,总结GIS在总体规划应用的具体过程及技术路线,探索发挥GIS强大信息处理功能的有效途径。
There are many aspects for GIS applied to urban planning, and the position of GIS is just in the function of toolbox in the overall planning. The specific process of application of GIS in overall planning was summarized, and effective way of exerting powerful information processing capabilities of GIS was explore, taking the overall planning of Xintang Town as example.
