摘要
新加坡是一个文化呈多元性，然却没有哪一种文化居绝对主导地位的国家。新加坡文化上的这一特点，既不同于世界上各大地区的文化，与东南亚诸文化多元性的国家相比也有异同。本文拟就新加坡文化多元性的成因进行探究，以期提供理解这一亚洲小国在诸领域取得令世人瞩目成就的文化因素。
Singapore has no absolutely dominant culture though it has manifold cultures. This distinguishing cultural feature is different from that of any countries of the world as well as from manifold cultures of the Southeast Asian countries. This paper is to make a study of the contributing factors of Singapore’s manifold cultures in order to find out the cultural reason why this small Asian country has achieved such worldsurprising successes.
