摘要
滇中钛铁砂矿自1984年发现以来,至今已知其规模大,品位高,可列为云南黑色金属矿产仅次于铁、锰的优势矿种。滇中钛铁砂矿以其毗邻昆明工业区,交通方便,水电条件良好,可选性试验效果甚佳,精矿品质优良,矿体裸露地表,露采可以不占或少占农田,已日益引起国内外矿业界的关注。近年来,一些地方小选厂相继投产,精矿产品供不应求,初步获得明显的经济效益;钛精矿深加工试验亦取得良好结果,由资源优势转化成经济优势的条件是具备的。
The occurrence places of the ilmenite placer in central Yunnan region are adjacent to the Kunming industrial area to which a close attention has been increasingly paid by the mining industries both at home and abroad since they are found recent years. In the light of the regional metallogenic conditions, the main one is of the basic rock outcrops concluding the titanaugite gabbro, gabbro diabase, diabase and lamprophyre etc. which contain commonly 5 to 7 percent ilmenite and ilmenomagnetite that can be enriched largely in weathering crust to form the ilmenite placer deposit of weathering crust type. The weathering crust well developed occurs only on the surface layer of exposed basic rock bodies formed in Cenozoic Era. The weathering crust experiencing denudation and washing can be accumulated again to form the deluvial and proluvial-alluvial types of ilmenite placers. Therefore, the genetic types for ilmenite placer deposits in central Yunnan include the weathering crust, deluvial and proluvial-alluvial types; among them the weathering crust type is predominant, the latter two generally distribute near it and they three often join together.
