Having consulted large quantities of material, made on - the - spot investigations, and got comprehensive knowledge of Hong Kong professional education system, the author reviews its structural levels, its layout as a network and its official management setup, demonstrates its features in running schools with market mechanism playing the leading role,and recommends its legal standards, policy guidance and economic supports given,etc., The author thinks that Hong Kong practice provides a model of professional education for the mainland.
