Religious Organizations and Village Politics:A Local Explanation of the "Same Surname but Different Clans"

摘要宗族文化是否对村落政治,尤其是宗族组织能否被操控作为村落选举的动员机制,对当下村落选举构成实质影响,一直是学界关切的一个热点话题。研究利用满铁调查资料与田野调查素材,从历史情境和当下情境的脉络,就宗族组织与村落政治的内在逻辑关联进行深度探讨,提炼出情境性社会关系解说模式,以同姓不同宗与同宗不同盟的本土见解洞察村落政治的本质,从而为村落治理提供有效决策信息。 It has been a hot topic whether clan culture constitutes a substantial impact on village politics,especially whether the clan organizations can be manipulated as mobilization mechanisms of village elections and exert an substantial influence on village elections.In this paper,by using the Mantetus survey materials and field research materials,the author thoroughly discusses the relationship between clan organizations and village politics in their historical and present contexts,and extracts a situational interpretation model of social relations.Then the nature of the village politics is penetrated by the opinions of ＂same surname with different clans＂ and ＂same clan but different alliances＂,which help provide effective decision-making information for village governance.
