头部放射治疗远期诱发脑膜瘤的病例分析 被引量:8

摘要 目的 探讨罕见的放射治疗远期并发症—放射治疗诱发脑膜瘤的临床特点。方法 追踪了43 年前应用大剂量X 线治疗头癣的12 例患者(男6 例,女6 例),其中3 例发生了脑膜瘤,并经手术病理证实。结果 12 例患儿放射治疗时年龄4 ~6 岁,中位年龄5 .5 岁。3 例脑膜瘤患者发病的年龄为35 ~48 岁,中位年龄为38 岁。其平均发病潜伏期为35 年。结论 放射治疗诱发的脑膜瘤潜伏期长,常呈非典型性,且易复发。儿童是诱发脑膜瘤的易感年龄段。 Objective To study the clinical features of this unusual complication of radiation induced meningioma.Methods This report follows the trail of 12 patients ( 6 males and 6 females) who, 43 years ago, received high dose x ray radiation for favus of scalp. Among them, three are patients with meningioma verified pathologically.Results The 12 patients' age at the time of commencement of radiotherapy ranged from 4~6 years with a median of 5.5 years.The three patients' age at the onset of developing miningioma ranged from 35~48 years with a median of 38 years. The latency between the commencement of radiotherapy and clinical onset of meningioma was 35 years.Conclusions Radiation induced meningioma have a long period of latency and are atypical and easy to recur.Children seem particularly sensitive to developing radiation induced meningioma.To treat patients with benign meningioma,one should be very cautious to use radiation.
