摘要
针织复合材料与单向纤维增强复合材料和别的纺织复合材料(如机织、编织增强复合材料)相比,具有生产率高、制造费用低、断裂韧性高、冲击抗力好及对复杂形状易于成型等优点,特别适用于制造复杂形状的构件(有低的形成阻力)。此外,针织工艺速度快、费用低,几乎许多平的和网形或近网形织物能用现有的针织机生产。介绍了针织复合材料预形件的制造工艺以及面内和面外的力学性能,并与机织复合材料进行比较。
Compared with unidirectional(UD) fiber reinforced composites and some other types of textile fabric such as woven and braided fabric reinforced composites, knitted fabric composites have several advantages over the fiber preforms, including mass productivity, low fabrication cost, high fracture toughness, superior resistance to im- pact, and high ability to conform to complicated contours. Furthermore, knitting is inherently a fast and low-cost process. An almost infinite variety of knitted flat and net-shape/near-net-shape fabrics can be produced using the existing knitting machines. This paper introduces the fabrication technology for preforms of knitted fabric composites. In-plane and out-of-plane mechanical properties are studied which are compared with those of woven composites.
