摘要
爱与命运,人类世世代代相因相乘。澳大利亚家世小说《荆棘鸟》中的女主人公梅吉,演绎了关于失去的爱的最美丽的故事;汉高祖的皇后吕雉,导演了关于失去的爱的最残酷的历史。文章从东西方女性性格以及文化背景的角度,通过对梅吉与吕雉形象的解读,探索在不同时代与文化背景下,东西方传统女性在追求美好爱情与实现生命价值的过程中,反抗命运的方式以及深层动因。
Love and fate are the everlasting subiects of human society. The female character Meggie of the Thorn Birds, the famous Australia family saga, has performed the most beautiful story of lost love. The queen of Emperor Liu Bang of the Han Dynasty had made the cruellest history of lost love. This paper has, from the eastern and western national characters and cultural backgrounds, and through interpreting the images of Meggie and Lv--Zhi, explored the ways to fight against the fate and the deep motivations of eastern and western traditional women in striving for beautiful love and realizing life value in different time and cultural background.
