摘要
在亚里士多德的悲剧情节论看来,《呼啸山庄》是一部"严肃、完整、有一定的长度"的作品,符合亚里士多德的悲剧标准。小说情节的"突转"引发了读者的"怜悯"与"恐惧"之情,使小说产生了强烈的悲剧效果。
From the perspectives of Aristotelian theory of plot,Wuthering Heights is a ＂serious,complete,and of certain length＂ which in line with the standard of Aristotelian tragedy.Reversal and recognition of the plot arouse the readers＇ fear and pity which bring to the novel a strong tragic effect.
