摘要
采用超高分子质量聚乙烯对聚丙烯进行改性,同时采用了3种不同的添加剂PP-MAH、LLDPE、SBS,希望能进一步提高改性效果。通过两次熔融混合制备PP/UHMWPE及含有不同添加剂的共混物,对其力学性能进行测试及表征。实验结果表明,UHMWPE在基体中形成物理交联的网络结构,可在冲击作用下吸收、传递大量的冲击能,从而有效地改善PP的冲击性能,当UHMWPE含量为30%(w)时,共混物的冲击强度可达到68.0 J/m,为纯聚丙烯的2.5倍,同时材料的抗拉强度无损失。由于UHMWPE与PP的相容性较差,增容剂SBS可以有效地改善两者的相容性,加入6%(w)SBS后,可有效地改善两相间的相容性,使超高分子质量聚乙烯均匀地分散在基体中。
UHMWPE was applied to modify PP in our study.PP-MAH、LLDPE、SBS were also added in the blend with the aim of further improving the toughening effect of UHMWPE on the matrix.Composites were prepared by two melt mixing processes.The mechanical characters,thermal properties,sub-microscopic morphology and crystallization behaviors were investigated.Forming a physical cross linking network in the matrix,UHMWPE could improve the impact strength of PP by transmitting and absorbing large amount of impact energy.At UHMWPE content of 30%(w),the impact strength of the blend could reach 68 J/m which is 2.5 times that of pure PP without any loss of tensile strength.As the immiscibility of UHMWPE and PP induced the phase separation,compatibilizer, especially 6%(w) of SBS,could improve it and then further enhance the impact strength of the material.
