A new electron donor-tetrapropionitrilylthiochalcogefulvalene has been prepared. Ithas been studied with cyclic voltammetry and showed clearly that it has two single electrontransfer reversible oxidation-reducing wave. TPT-TTF is stabler than TTF with respect toenergy. It has been studied with electronic absorption spectra and manifested clearly that theenergy difference between TPT-TTF's π-orbital is smaller than the one between BEDT-TTF'swhich has good electric conductivity.
