摘要
本文作者用主成分分析方法对宁夏地区地震数据进行了特征提取并在此基础上再用系统聚类法进行聚类，其结果表明：先用主成分分析方法进行特征提取，有利于改善聚类结果，能够较好地模拟地震成组活动的规律．
Abstracting the characteristic variables by applying principal component analysis method and clustering by hierarchical cluster method on the earthquake data of Ning Xia regions. It has been shown that it is beneficial to improve the result of clustering and it effectively simulates the phenomena of seismic activity in groups to abstract the characteristic variables by applying principal component analysis method at first.
