古籍是中华民族宝贵的文化遗产,更是图书馆藏书的重要组成部分。古籍修复是延长古籍寿命,保护古籍的一项特殊技艺。为这项传统的古籍修复技术建立档案,使其文献资源信息数字化,目的不仅仅是记录、传播与推广先进的修复原则和技术方法,也是用先进的管理方法,促进古籍修复工作向科学化迈进,促进古籍文献保护工作的合作与交流,促进古籍文献资源数字化共享的实现。
