摘要
语言和文化是互相融合密不可分的。了解英美国家的文化背景,是全面透彻地掌握语言学习的关键。因为人们的言语表现形式受到生存环境、社会习俗、生活方式、行为方式、宗教信仰等的制约和影响,那么要学好英语就必须关注英美国家的文化背景知识。本文主要阐述了文化背景知识在英语教学中的重要作用及英语教学中进行文化导入的必要性。
The language and culture are inseparable. Understanding the cultural background of British ＆ American countries is the key to comprehensively grasp the language learning. Because the forms of people＇ s speech are affected by the living environment, social customs, lifestyle, behavior, religion and other constraints, in order to learn English well, we must concern about the cultural background knowledge of British ＆ American. This paper describes the important role of cultural background knowledge in the English teaching and the necessity of introducing culture into English teaching.
