Musicians have established their own styles and schools thanks to the influences of the regional culture. Nie Er＇s music creation owed much to the regional culture of Yunnan, a province that enjoys splendid multiethnic music cultures. Nie Er has integrated varied elements of Yunnan Huadeng performance, Yunnan opera, Dongjing Music and ethnic music into his music works, which has formed his typical music style with a regional flavor.
