The Small Secured-loan Discount-interest Policy,launchedin 2009,continues to help rural women start their ownbusinesses and become financially independent.Manywomen have established greenhouses,to plant vegetables,and warm sheds,to breed livestock;others,meanwhile,have started folk-custom touring businesses or factories toprocess agricultural products and byproducts.According to the statistics from All-China Women'sFederation(ACWF),40.993 billion yuan(US$6.31 billion)in loans have been issued to women in 2,305 counties(or districts).Of that amount,25.923 billion yuan(63.24percent)was issued to rural women.Thanks to the policy,908,900 women have started their own businesses,andmore than four million women have found employment.
2009年,全国妇联协调财政部、人力资源和社会保障部、中国人民银行共同出台了推动妇女创业就业的小额担保贷款财政贴息政策。
