Image Compression Based on Transform Domain and Realized Using Matlab

摘要 数字图像的数据量是巨大的,需要进行有效的压缩。为了实现图像数据的压缩,本文采用基于变换域的离散余弦变换(DCT)和小波变换的压缩方法,在Matlab环境下分别进行相关压缩实验,结果表明两种压缩方法具有简单、速度快、误差小的优点。最后对基于变换域压缩的基本思想进行了总结。 The data quantity of digital image is huge, so effective data compression is needed. In order to realize the image data compression, discrete cosine transform (DCT) and wavelet transform based on transform domain was used, and the experiment was realized using Matlab, the experimental results showed the advantages of simple, quickly, and little error. Last the basic idea of transform domain compression was summarized.
