Edge-preserving Image Decomposition Algorithm Based on Local Extrema

摘要 针对非线性图像滤波算法保边缘能力不强的问题,提出一种新的保边缘图像分解算法。该算法采用局部极值差定义图像的边缘,在此基础上利用加权平均的方法调整极值,通过优化算法得到原图像的基图像,实现图像的多尺度分解。实验结果表明,与同类算法相比,该算法在实现图像平滑的同时保边缘能力更强。 Nonlinear algorithms have some shortcomings in keeping the image edge when being used in image filtering.This paper defines the edge by the difference of local extrema,and a new image edge-preserving decomposition algorithm is proposed.It adjusts the value of extrema by the weighted mean method,and the basic image can be got by solving an optimistic problem.These steps are repeated to realize the image decomposed into different scales.Experimental results show that compared with other algorithms,the algorithm is more powerful in edge-preserving while smoothing the image.
