在一定的语境中,语篇的主位推进模式与语篇连贯是相关联的。文章以2004年"CCTV杯"全国英语演讲大赛的定题演讲稿为例,分析其主位推进模式是如何推动信息的传递,促成语篇的语义连贯,旨在探究主位推进模式的运用对演讲的帮助,加深我们对语篇的主位推进模式与语篇连贯之间的联系的理解。
In certain context, Thematic Progression patterns of a text are related to text coherence. This paper attempts to explore how patterns of Thematic Progression affect English public speeches by analyzing the prepared speech in the 2004 ＂CCTV Cup＂ English Speaking Contest, in order to deepen our understanding of the correlation between Thematic Progression patterns and text coherence.
