摘要
民族身份的建构有时可以通过语码转换来实现。言语调节﹑语言态度和心理动机等理论都强调语言使用者的社会心理因素,将三者结合起来可以有效探讨这一建构过程。本文从社会心理语言学角度探讨语码转换与民族身份建构的复杂关系,旨在阐释促使人们在交际过程中选择特定语码或转换语码时的社会心理原因及其在民族身份构建中的重要作用。
Ethnic identities can sometimes be constructed through code-switching. This process can be successfully expounded by integrating the theories of speech accommodation, language attitude and motivation, all of which emphasize the socio-psychological factors of language users. Therefore, a socio-psycholinguistic approach to the function of code-switching in constructing ethnic identities will be proved to be feasible, especially in explicating why people choose certain codes or switch their codes in communication.
